rough running
Before changing oil, I dumped some Seafoam in.
Also put some in the gas tank, appx 1/2 can with a 3/4 full tank
Engine now running rough
Check engine light on
Checking codes I get
P0101 MAF
P0304 #4 misfire
P0305 #5 misfire
P0300 multi misfire
Any simple solution??
I believe that I most likely put too much Seafoam in the gas tank

If you sprayed it into the throttle body, you just need to find an interstate , an jump on it. I left a cloud of suet an smoke for 2 miles. It will clear out....
And that's not to much in the tank..

Aaaaa...now we see. First clean your MAF sensor (special spray) , then a fuel filter. Also pull plugs 4 an 5 to make sure they have not fouled causing them, to not fire when called on.
I see that you have replaced with Needswings plugs and wires. Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? I'm asking because I have the special tools for that and could let you borrow them if you don't already have. I'll be in your area this weekend(I'm a new grandpa, and will be down in Brentwood for a visit). But hopefully the clean/spray procedure you're going to do takes care of the issue. PM me if you find the need.
Thanks
Happiness on your new status
I replaced myself years and miles ago when I first purchased the car
I am going to follow the suggestions here after coffee.
When you are here still contact me.

I personally do not believe they are beneficial, auto makers often specifically say not to use them, anything not in the gas and oil already is probably not required at all.
I am torn on that.
I blame myself for maybe using too much with too little gas.
As far as in the oil, don't know there either.
I am gonna clean MAF today, check plugs order new filter from needswings.
After cleaning MAF, run to see if that does the job.
Then the plugs.
Keep you all posted
Thanks again for all the advice.

Update
Did the spray the MAF with CRC MAF cleaner
No good, won't idle, runs rougher
Letting it sit tonight and retry tomorrow
If no luck will be changing the fuel filter
Appreciate any further ideas

1. Get in your car
2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter
turns over.
3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.
4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back
to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas
pedal.
5. Wait 2 mins. for a full alignment.
6. Drive the car as you always do.
BTW realize that under the skin a Crossie is really a Merc R170 and never forgets codes. The official procedure is to record the codes, clear the codes, then see what comes back.
The first time often get many particularly if the battery has been replaced.
BTW I see a number of mods including the MAF. Is it a Bosch sensor ? Did you do anything just before it began ?
BTW after cleaning the MAF they often are hard to start or run cranky for a few minutes, then they usually smooth out.

You had dormant demons in the tank, you woke them up
Seriously, you may need to drain and refill the tank.
If you are lazy ( like me ), you could disconnect the flexible line where it connects to the manifold and use a rubber tube connected to it to dump the fuel into 5 gallon cans.
Hook up a battery charger and turn the key on ( not start ) to energize the fuel pump.
( ALL THE ABOVE IS ASSUMING THAT THE FUEL IS THE PROBLEM, NOT SAYING IT IS )

Never say never and since an easy swap, try it but with a dirty/failing MAF I usually see a P0170 and P0173 (fuel trim error on both banks) and does not run rough though MPG may be down.
