Default Change TB

I asked on the coupe thread but will post here also. On a SRT I got a spare TB and sent it to MAXBORE who punched it out to a 78mm bore. I put it on this mourning, o-ring in place and the hose to the TB hooked up. Car ran terrible so I put the stock one back on, still ran bad but after a trip around the block it is smooth, still have a check engine light on.
Going through the threads I see some who put the 75mm on the NA’s they would run rough for a while then smooth out, should I try that? Will the CEL go away or do I have to get it turned off?
Thanks
Dan

I have also read about the NA's running rought for a while, I have put 74mm on mine and 1 other, neither ran rough at all. The CEL may reset itself after a drive cycle, but you can always reset it yourself.
