White smoke
I have a auto manual trans roadster so today while on the highway I decided to try playing with the car in manual so as doing about 70 I switched to manual mode it put it in 4 gear I dropped it to third took off and switched to 4 when I got about 80 5500rpm I noticed after getting up the highway I had a trail of white smoke behind me now the car didn’t drive different sound different nothing and in auto mode there is no white smoke anyone know what this could be
If that was the first time in a LONG time you drove it like that, I'd suspect it was not smoke, but may have been water vapor from condensation collected in the exhaust system.
Thanks Dave. I was only going to mention that if his white H2O vapor is an ongoing persistent problem in an SRT6, then it could be a failed CAC(intercooler). I suspect that Mark probably had it right, and the OP just unleashed moisture accumulation from conservative and/or infrequent driving. The alternative explanation is an ugly one, so I won't mention it.
I have a na and yes I had just brought it from someone who had it sitting hasent had a problem since
That is good news, we like to hear that.
