Default Auto tranny lags engagement in 1st

'05 Limited: Noticed yesterday and today I was at a traffic light and when I proceeded forward there was a lag of 1st gear engagement moving forward. Not all the time just sometimes. Engine at operating temp and no Chk Eng Light. Any ideas?

Don't think the tranny fluid and filter has been changed before as a guess with 111K miles on her. I have no tranny leaks.

I have had good luck fixing sticky trannys with a can of Seafoam Transtune then 100 miles later change the trans fluid and filter.

Hard to believe they get $450 for a tranny and filter change here in Tampa! If had access to a lift I'd do it myself for about $100.

Has been suggested to add some Seafoam Transtune for about 100 miles then do a fluid and filter change.
