MAF & Injector Upgrade
I've done a little bit more research on this in the past few weeks and seem to have come-up with a few more HP... Would like the DC Techs on this forum to chime in...
This is my modification workflow that should take two weeks during the off-racing season...
Install Carlsson CK32 Cam
Port & Polish Heads
Install Carlsson R170 Compressor Kit
Send injectors to RC Engineering for Performance Tests
Install RC Engineering Performance Injectors
Install Split Second MAF upgrade
Install Split Second Fuel Management System
Custom ECU remap to match mods...
If any of the DC tech guys think I have missed something, let me know...

If you are remapping your ECU, why are you getting the Split Second band aids? They make good products, but if you are doing the ECU why the band aid?
While you are doing the work, I would suggest over-boring the TB. You can add a couple of mm. Send the intake manifold and heads to Extrude Hone. If anyone makes an adjustable cam gear, it may worth some ponies playing with the cam timing.
If no headers are available by the time you hit the track next, you might gain some power by working on the stock exhaust manifold.
How much are the cams?

But, as you should know... Lean caused by forced air will not be supported by stock injectors... MAF will sense wrong... OEM Injectors only provide 80% of capacity, FMU needs changes... New cams will effect as well...
Split Second FMU & MAF are adjustable in car...
So, what was your question about a band-aid?

Well if your remapping your ECU you will be able to compensate for larger injectors. You can also adjust your fuel and timing tables for rpm & % throttle. None of what you are doing are out of the realm of a custom programmed ECU. If you were not going into your fuel & timing tables I could understand using the split second products.
You are correct - I am not a DC tech.

Thanks for your input... I'm pretty sure I've got this layout nailed... Just was wondering if I overlooked something, that's why I was asking for DC tech input, but it seems that very few of the DC techs have done any serious mods on the SLK / Crossfire... this has been a 1.5 year process with the car and now finally starting to find aftermarket product that isn't smoke and mirrors...
