Default Intake manifold

I am venturing to replace Intake Manifold gaskets and am having a hard time figuring out how to remove the brake booster hose from the manifold. Any info would be very helpful.
THANKS

I figured it out and got the intake off. The entire front piece was blown out, Any ideas why? Maybe a faulty injector?

PS, the gaskets weren't the problem. LOL

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for your question. If it were the engine block, I would think that you threw a rod!
All I can say is WOW!

Those backfires were more than it could take.
Did you check the EVAP solenoid for gasoline vice vapor?

What would cause fuel in the EGR?

Our fuel injectors are just forward of the cylinders intake valve. For gas to reach the EGR it would need to back flow to the EGR at the rear of the engine where the EGR tube attaches to the intake. i can't see how gas could get to the EGR from the exhaust side. Definitely check all your injectors.

Raw gas at the EVAP solenoid comes from the charcoal canister at the rear of the car and usually caused by a bad shut off valve on the canister.
