Default Low fuel pressure

My Grandsons Crossfire stalls and the fuel pressure is only 40 PSI at the rail. Is the issue usually the fuel filter, fuel pump or both?

Change both, the filter and pump, due to the age of our cars. Buy the parts from Rob @ Needswings, since the majority of the parts on EBAY are from China.
There is a video about installing a new filter/pump, with all of the steps, disconnecting the negative, releasing the fuel pressure at the fuel rail, etc....
Be gentle when removing the plastic covering over the pump/filter.
Good Luck,
Dennis

On all my crossfires I have installed a manual fuel regulator and fuel filter, i have found that with increased fuel pressure,
you do not need larger fuel injectors, With my V8 crossfire i ran 10.55 @ 132mph,,and with my V6 crossfire street tires, and no posi traction 12.008 @117.
If u go with a manual fuel reg. remember you must have a return line. jim
