I know the team over at Powerhaus Performance in NJ is currently working on a twin turbo for the m112 V8 engine.

You mean the M113?
Great on ya Bart! I'm loving the layout!
Here are a few more photos of my Turbo Mark 5. in my photo gallery. Last weekend Turkey Day for us Canadians so we took the long weekend off, but we are progressing. I will give a more thorough update when we are closer to the end of the build.
Not gona put "2 more weeks" coz I'm not that kind of guy.

]BJames, any update on your system, it appears you are much farther along than Corky

Sorry I didn't keep forum more updated. The build has been complete for quite awhile, It is the ECU we are waiting on. The geographics of us and the programmer is holding us up a bit but we are going to resolve that in a couple weeks. Can't give out much info about the ECU programing because it's the programmers work and research so it's up to him when he wants to share it. Don't want to be giving someones else work away. This is a completely different build than Corkys, I'll try to be more diligent with my updates. When complete I'll put it on a hoist to take heat readings and photos. Have my fingers crossed. Thanks for showing interest.

I first got into turbo systems with the idea of turbocharging my crossfire (back in early 05). I wound up developing the first turbo systems for the 05 and up LX cars and Cherokee's with the 5.7/6.1 hemi engine. Never got back to the crossfire. IF (big if), the manifold sections cast on the sides of the supercharger were available, or similar, it would be fairly easy to design an underhood system. You could pitch the NA intake and mount a turbo in the valley feeding a pair of SRT6 intake plenums. Would have to figure out what to do with any ecu actuated manifold short/long runner valves. Likely easier to use a modified srt6 ecu program (if could be reworked in certain areas). But is just idle thoughts. The ecu programing on modern vehicles is always the hardest aspect of forced induction.
Lets play detective..
Who do we know that does programming..
Who do we know asking about Canadian borders..
Who do we know on the other side of that border waiting on a programmer..
Test tomorrow morning.. LOL.
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU GUYS !

I love your setup, I really do. Bart's more after stealth and OEM, his is pretty damn good as well. Hopefully his programmer get's the f out there already

Your set-up blows me away...love it. Interesting concept.
Looks like really good quality workmanship.
Write a book, I'm going to, everybody else does.

So I had some issues with customs but I got here, and she's RUNNING!!!!
Today will be setting up one of the dataloggers, we need A/F before we know what's really going on. We're starting at 4lbs of boost so nothing major.

NICE! Think about 6lbs is all you want to push from what I've read for.. oh almost 2 years.. LOL. Need to post this over on the Miata forum.. since I got my hand slapped for "downing" Corky's ability.. LOL
That would be funny lol.
Thanks John! Unfortunately the weekend wasn't what we were hoping for. It's running and should be safe where it stands but the work is not done. He's tied over with 4 psi for now but I would really like to integrate another idea. I ended up forgetting one of my damn chip adapters so I was guessing on firmware switching and such, but we just didn't have enough time or resources to try everything.
At least at this point I know why the ECU's weren't working when I sent them to him so I should be able to do everything remotely.
The best combonation I could come up with was a stock NA tune, with slightly larger injectors (SRT's were wayyyy too big and flooded the engine). The SRT ECU was giving us serious issues, it would only start right after the first initialization, perfect idle A/F and everything but somehow was saying a short to MAP, short to charge air cooler, and a couple more faults, and an SRT tune on the NA ECU were even bigger issues, no crank at all, locked coding for automatic which is probably a firmware issue.
I'll have something better soon for him. My goal is at minimum 6 lbs before Eurocharged or anyone else for tuning is even considered.
Thought I would update you on what has been going on with the build. The oil pump was so noisy the car was undriveable, took a week to get around to ordering one and two weeks to get here. Started to install on weekend but there is some fabrication to be done and oil lines to re-route. That part just about done. Other than that nothing new.
Glad to see you pushing ahead on this! I've resolved to picking up a 6 for a weekend cruiser eventually and just leaving the N/A.. and n/a. But looking very forward to your dyno run when you get there !
