Default Trim Paint

I read somewhere in this site that the silver paint for the screen trim door handles and wheels is the same.

Not been able to find a paint code - any of you uk guys found something that matches.

Question Re: Trim Paint

Hi,
Did you ever find the paint for the trim, wheels, etc? I could do some myself. Main dealer supplied the black I required, but not the silver.

Hi,

I have only yesterday ordered the following 05179660AA part no. Info off this site suggests it is the correct code. Ryfield Birmingham say its on back order so we'll see if I get it.

As it happens I have damaged the bottom of my bumper. Co called Chips away called just. £60 to paint in bumper and deal with screen surround chips.

You can stay in touch direct on: Zuikozoom@aol.com.

Regards,
Grant

I think there was a problem with the supply of all paints - new EEC rules prohibited the sale of touch up paints because of the packaging of solvents or something.

This is true! My dealer would not or could not supply me with touch up paint quoting the EEC ruling. However, given the correct code it turned out to mighty cheap and easy to get the paint made up at Halfords.

Hi Pete,
Be interested in the paint code as I need to do a little touch up on the crossfire wheels.

Keep Well,
Ken.
