Smile UK Crossfire Christmas meet..

Hi
Any of you Crossfire owners from the North or South of London fancy a pre Chrismas meet. A central location needed, open to idea's...Just for a chat and to put face's to names and to talk Crossfire etc...Could be the start of regular meet's.

You guys on the South Coast... If nothing come's from the above general meet. We could have our own local get together with our wives & girl friends included and perhaps arrange a snack & coffe or lunch locally.

Look forward to hearing.

Cheers,
UK Ken.

Ken - Great Idea, Count me in! Just tell me where and when... Just as long as we don't have to decorate our xfires.

Sounds good. But I live in Oxfordshire. My sister got a pub up the road from me. Good food and beer nice rural setting. May be we could meet there some time.

Hi Guy's
I suggest we give it a couple of weeks and see what responce we get from other crossfre owners and then make a decision regarding location and dates.

Take care
Ken.

Pete, How's your back?

Ken, thanks for asking, my back is better than it has been in the last two years, It seems spending a fortune at the chiropractor has been worth it.

Hi V12,
Would be great to meet you if dates etc tie-up...Not sure about a black cab in the Crossfire Convoy!!

How long are you spending in the UK? and are you based in London for all of it? There are some wonderful site's and village's to visit in the UK and if you venture to the South Coast...New Forest way, a 60/70 miles drive...easy drive down and back in a day, you will find I don't charge for local guilded tours and would be happy to introduce you to an Oldie Wold pub for lunch, wives included, and after you could continue your journey.

Cheers,
Ken.

Note: I am in London this week (not through choice), have not met anyone else actually born in england (as yet) but plenty of Americans in blcak cabs...

God that sounds great, we usually stay in town thru New Years (or when I start getting voice mail from my wifes credit card company) - and now that the mighty dollar is worth about 2pence we may just fly in, grab a mcdonald's and a starbucks upstairs at heathrow and then fly right back to america... My wife and I love all things UK and would dig hooking up not to mention the priviledge of touring with the natives...

and as for you bollox - the neighborly thing (unless you still have revolutionary war issues) would be for me to drive and you ride. We've been coming to London for so long now that you don't have to worry about my driving - I just don't worry about which side of the road I'm on and get used to a lot of the finger...
I'm always in a rental, what the hell do I care...I'll keep an eye on this thread for updates..V-12, the ugly american.

I know great jokes too. Why do the british drink warm beer? Their refridgerators are made by borg-warner? get it? Can you hardly wait?
