Default UK Sat Nav problems

Hi All

I know there have been some issues with the US Sat Nav but none seem to be like mine. Not sure how many people would have paid the extra £1500 for the sat nav over here vers a Tom Tom????

But when I got my car in Nov 09 the dealer showed me how to use the Nav and it worked fine the first day. I Bought it from up north which is where the previous owner was too. For some reason the Sat Nav stayed up North???

So having read here before being able to join I reset the system using the three button reset and it found me and my car perfectly.............But when I drive anywhere its always a mile or so behind me! Or tells me to turn around immediately/ do a u turn and I had been following it for ages yet I know Im on the right track just the sat nav has not kept up.

Any thoughts???

Matt

I think you are driving too fast.
Sorry no idea, but the brains will speak up no doubt.
Have you tried the battery disconnect method, starting the whole process from scratch, satellite acquisition etc. maybe you have too few satellites acquired.
You do not have any thing on the dash restricting the signals?

HAHAHAHAH I have tried going slower but that spoils the fun and it doesnt work either!!

I have done everything but the batery and have about 27 satalites accoding to the display and the book says thats great? So its not that. Nothing on the dash but I do have Sonic sitting in the cargo pouch between the seats, he keeps me company and gives me insperation!
