diffusers
SRT, if you make them like the CTD diffusers I would buy them for sure. I want to put them right under my mopar parts and paint them white to match my car. I think that would be hot as hell!

I can still do them for $140 plus S&H if you send them to me. If we can get close to 10 interested I can buy them and you can save on extra S&H.
Update on my design. Just came back from Comicon in San Diego (work not fun, though seeing some of the attendees was fun)! High speed testing is done. Rock solid performance. Still there with speeds... ummm... under 100 MPH. Can't tell but I think it may help with the downforce a bit. The car was very stable at speed. I am thinking it not feasible to cover them with CF because of cost. The surface area is much larger than the OEM and would have to coat both sides. Will paint them black to match the car. Still thinking of using them in conjunction with the OEM part.
I like them but they need to be thicker and more rounded on the edges. Kind of looks stuck on now. It should follow the edge contours of the flanges. Am I making sense? How in the hell did you attach those that they don't fly off?

The way to make it appear thicker is to use injection molding then it could essentially be thin but have a hollowed out area to make the actual material thin. $10K plus for the mold so that is out. BTW the OEM diffusers use this method. And did I mention that you would need two molds because right and left mirror each other.
By using a solid polycarbonate it is solid, strong and can be essentially made to fit right or left. I do want to round the edges more. I can do a completely rounded edge or tapered to each side. The later would then require specific right and left and would add a little to the cost.
They are actually much larger than they appear. You don't see the extended piece under the far right and left. They follow the edge of the bumper skirt. I tried this method so I could use the existing screw mounts on the standard bumper skin. Two using the existing screw holes and one addition self tapping more to the inside. To attach to the fins on each side of the exhaust pipes, I used self tapping screws to secure that edge from underneath. With the turbulent airflow coming under the car simply using tape will not hold up.
I have had them on a month and they are as tight as when first installed. I have done some continuous high speed runs on trips as far as 120 miles with no problems.
I was concerned that they may cause lift but it appears if anything there is additional down force. The car remains very stable at speed.
Last note...I am thinking of offering them with a matte black finish. To apply the synthetic CF finish would be very expensive if I apply it to both top and bottom, also I will probably only apply it to the exposed area. I am trying to figure a way to shorten it yet secure it as strongly as it is now.
It looks MUCH better than without anything, and also looks good in conjunction with the OEM diffuser.

That looks sweet. I wish I had some money, because I've been looking for a reasonably priced diffuser.

My biggest issue is whether to make it cover the outside edge areas under the bumper skirt. By doing this, it is extremely well secured. Trimming it would be relatively easy to carbon coat but I don't think it will be as secure. Either way, my goal is to make it no more than a 30 min mod that could be done by any one easily.
Having trouble posting pics right now. I have bids out on the diffuser and a set of grilles that go in the open area in the back. Looking at brushed aluminum and painted. Made the proto and it looks good. Getting pricing on that as well.
