Default headlight tint

I saw this video and the headlight tint looks great, just wondering if anyone has done this and if they've had any problems with cops.

I know a few people who have used these products with no problems. I plan to go with the blue for my car soon!

I have a graphite crossfire so i went with the lighter tint and it matches perfectly. I would suggest taking the lights off its much easier to work with and looks much better. LOL since you have to take the bumper off, to get to the lights, you might as well kill as many birds possible with one stone. If you have an SRT6 go new pump, maybe a heat exchanger, Hid kit is much easier to put it with lights off, Hid fog lights, The list could go on and on but you get the idea.

Looks good! I have been checking on California regs on the tint and can find nothing. Other than HIDs being illegal, I don't think there is anything wrong with the tints.

How is the headlight output at night with the tint?

I've been curious about headlight tints. I've tried searching the web to see what is and isn't legal in Florida and haven't been able to come up with the answer. I was thinking a blue or light smoke tint would look good. If anyone knows what's legal, please tell me.

I tinted my headlights and taillights got the film precut from e-bay, you need some patients, end results look great.

what percent is the tint on your taillights, they are about the same as i want but i want to break it up a little by somehow leaving the two clear parts of the light clear and tint around them, i have seen it on here before by another user miller something. I am debating on bringing it to a tint shop for that to be done, i don't know if i have the patients or steady enough hand to make clean cuts

I used Rockblocker on the Charger. Tails were smoked, with no issues in AZ or in NC. On the headlights, I did blue, which I really like against the GoMango.

Anybody go with a colored film on a graphite Xfire? If so, I'd like to see pics.

Never understood someone wanting to impair the output of thier headlights or make thier taillights harder to see.

Really all your doing is giving a cop a reason to stop you and I even might even stop a vehicle for having it.

Does look nice though.

Nice job, the painted grille looks good as well. With a light tint there is a small amount of light reduction (maybe 5%) I was thinking about going to the new brighter Sylvania bulbs on the front which should cover that. From the rear, I can't really tell the difference.

The look is stunning day or night. I think where you might have problems is a colored tint. I know there are regs on the books in CA against them (especially blue) I tried to get several tint places (windows) to do the lights but they want to use a tint spray. That is permanent and if the laws (or my mind) changes, it will mean getting new light enclosures. As said before, patience is needed. I have to redo two of mine (one front and one rear) because of fine bubbles. Even using a pin hasn't worked and there are patches of "orange peel" on the two. You don't see it much from 5-10 feet but it is very appearant up close.

imo only an a$$h$$e cop would pull someone over for something like that, as well as an exhaust that isn't obnoxious, and tint. but hey just my opinion, i know if i was a cop i would be more worried about things that are important and not something just to bust someones ***** and meet a quota. i honestly can't stand not having tinted wondows do to the sun it really helps to block the sun and looks good, but seems like everyone who gets tint now is getting harassed like they are some cop killer hiding behind the glass, i understand its a hazard to cops but come on. and what would a cop even have reason to pull someone over for tinting there taillights or headlights its not like they can't be seen, just to bust ***** thats the only reason.

You may want to check out lamin-x film, it is very high quality and easy to work with. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

I have Rockblockers on the Charger:
http://rockblocker.com/store/35812.htm

Smoked tails, headlights have a light blue, and fogs are yellow. I've been somewhat happy so far. The tails look great, but the the headlight films have some cracks that are visible from odd angles. The fogs are reputed to suffer adhesive bubbling if you leave the foglights on too long in an idle, but I haven't encountered that yet.

Of course, the ncie thing about this stuff is if it does go bad, you just peel it off.

I went to my local speed shop and bought a spray on tint. i had the precut ebay tints before and they do not even compare to what i have now! with the spray on you can control how light or dark you want to go. i went with black and it looks soooo good on my graphite xf.
