how do you safely remove the silver painted windshield surround

I am trying to get them off for paint.

It real easy. They are all clips. So you can just pry it off. just use a plastic wedge and pry it up to get your hand under it. Remove the top piece first. then the two sides.

07 Have silver panted windshield surround, I guess you mean buy a base model.

why on earth are these painted silver anyway? it's one of the very few things I dislike...but I'm taking care of those things!

I like it and think that it is just one the many things that make the Crossfire unique. You sure don't see many (if any) other vehicles with it. Just one opinion of many I am sure!
