Thumbs down burnt light symbol still on after I changed the bulb

burnt light symbol on dash still on after I changed the bulb. It was the brake light so I picked a pair up from Autozone and changed it....PITA checked the light after install and all was good. Parked the car for the night and in the morning started it and the burnt light symbol came back so I checked the lights all around - nothing wrong everything works the way they are supposed to.

Any ideas?
The only idea I have is I did not buy genuine mopar/benz parts.

Be sure to check the license plate lights.......they are usually the culprit.

I haven't looked at the tails on Crossfires but on a lot of newer M-B's they have "secondary" brake lights that will light up for safety and visibly looks like nothings wrong. Then when you take out the taillight you'll see a burnt bulb.
