Default Chrome Turn signal Bulbs not working

I recently purchased a pair of chrome turn signal bulbs form a company know as NS-FX off of Ebay. They shipped me 2 BA15 1156 bulbs. These bulbs do not seem to want to go into the turn signal housing properly. The OEM amber bulbs slide right in and turn to lock in place but these do not lock and have to be forced into the housing as the ***** on the side do not match up with the hosuing properly. Anyone else have a problem similar to this or with this company?

1156 has the locking pins in the wrong location - you need bulb # 7507

He's correct-the pins are in different orientations.

(BTW- that's a great price!)

Thanks for the feedback guys. I went ahead and ordered 4 form the link posted and they shipped today The response from NS-FX was pretty lame when I emailed them and shows they know nothing of the product they are selling:

Hello,

I'm sorry that there was an issue with the bulbs. For some reason our data lists the 1156 bulb for the Crossfire. Typically the offset design is also only seen in German vehicles, and we've not heard of this before on this car. We do know that BMW owners will often buy these bulbs and remove one of the pins to make them compatible, but obviously this can't be expected. If you'd like, you are welcome to return the bulbs for a full refund.

Duh.. where do you think these are made jackson.. I wish I could reach over to California and slap this guy. I emailed another Ebay user who recently purchased them and he had the same problem. I was able to force them in and they looked great but wasn't going to leave them in when they don't lock. Hopefully when the new ones come there will be no problems.

I found this site with cheaper shipping. Don't know about reliability nor quality, and will update once I get my set.

Chrome Bulbs superbrightbulbs.com

with limited lifetime warranty (if this is of value to you):
Chrome Bulbs superbrightbulbs.com

First-class shipping for 2 sets was $4.00.

cheers!

I also got ns-fx chrome signal bulbs for both front and rear turn signals. Installing them is a bit tricky, you have to push one pin into the one slot that does not one directly across from it, then twist the other pin into the other slot on the other side and push down. Quite easy once you know the trick, but it took installing all four bulbs before I learned. I too like the "no yolk" look.

The way I see it if it is advertised to be for a crossfire it should fit no problem like an OEM bulb.. Yes I could fit them into the housing but thy did not lock in place cause the locking pins are not in the correct place. I was not happy with their product at all. New ones shipped yesterday from a different company

I ordered mine two days ago, and they came in today. They're on my car already. What an easy mod.

I just received my set today, and it took 2mins. What a huge difference in ease of access compared to the low beams...
Indeed the whole face looks cleaner without the amber.

Cheap and comes with immediate gratification. My kind of mod

End of story is my new bulbs came in and I put them in Saturday. Excellent. Still waiting to see if NS-FX will refund the ones that do not fit properly.
