Installing Euro head lights with auto height adjustment
Installing Euro head lights with auto height adjustment
Today I managed to get the replacement head lights in. My Crossfire originates from Texas, but will now drive around in Holland. I managed to buy some second hand headlights which are the euro ones. I build them in today. So far so good. They work (although they don't seem to create the euro pattern), so far so good. The problem now is that the right light is a bit down. To cheer him up, I most likely need the automatic height adjustment connected. But I have no idea how to do so.....
I see that there are 3 pins. I assume up, down and ground. But I can't figure out which pin to use to help them up. For the long term, it might be nice to connect them properly, but I assume the sensor isn;t part of the US car. Anyone know how to get it to work properly?
Thanks!

Re: Installing Euro head lights with auto height adjustment
These headlight have a controller that is next the the headlight switch that you'll need to get. After that, you can set the beam height. Perhaps send a PM to UK Ken or Woody (not Waldig) as they both should have this feature in their cars. Good luck with the mod and make sure to let us know how it turns out. Perhaps you could even take a few pictures of the differences between them and the originals.
