I looked through the other posts but didnt see any pictures of this. Has anyone put a karman badge on their fender like a ferrari? Also, anyne have spare badges?

 

I toyed with that idea. But it just didn't look right. I like this setup the best:

 

I don't have photos handy right at the moment but I have mine above the side strakes on my Aero Blue car and I really like the look, almost like they were there from the beginning!

 

 

Are the karman badges metallic where I could sand them and re-paint? I would love to match them silver/alabaster to match my car, and put them on upper fender...also, I have not heard anything back from karmann, anyone have some they are willing to part with?

I always liked these emblems they really look great on the Crossfires
I bet with a really good quality picture I could make a decal that would be sweet... offical size and all ,,Valk do you have one of these that you can take a picture of head on with a ruler next to it and pm it to me I would like to experiment a little.....................

Ok, I have laser etcher access. The only problem is the pictures of the emblems or what not need to be in black and white and JPEG format. All I have is paint and it sucks trying to make those badges B&W. Anyone have better software and want to try then send to me?

 

I still have an emblam tha I have not put on my roadster, they only sent me one and I want one for each side. I sent another email a while back asking for another but didn't get a response. If you want, I can send you my emblem if that will help you make the decal.

 

That would be great, I could scan it as b&w straight to file. I don't know when I would be able to get it back to you though. Thanks.

Its not decals I am trying to make, more like thin shee metal plaques or plasti emblems. I dont even know if it will be successfull.
