advice please re: small scrape
Finally happened, have babied my 2007 coupe for nearly 2 years... but I pulled in to a car port here in Florida that has a 1.5 ft concrete ledge around it, and just barely scraped the area on the left front bumper area very low just in front of the right front tire. It did little more than take off the paint and leave a somewhat rough spot about 1 inch wide and 5 inches long.
Called Chrysler dealership here in Tampa and they don't even carry the Oyster Gold metallic paint, but will order it IF I come in a pay ahead of time. Not a big deal but they acted as if I was a pain in the ____for asking for such a small thing I guess.
Two questions.
1. Any suggestions where to get the paint without messing with the dealership.
2. Or, and this may not go over well. Any ideas of covering up the spot otherwise and matching it up exactly on the other side? The location is such that I think it might work and look fine.Thinking some small sticker/decal/graphic?
Thanks, Steve
