Default Fog lights HID conversion

I'm trying to make sure I don't make a mistake when ordering fog lights and I wanted to know if anyone thought this was a reliable kit and if this will match my 05 srt6 fog light size. I know I need 9006 and it says that but I feel like it wouldn't be the right fit, any opinions?

I'm sure that it will WORK just fine. However, as in many other kits sold in this price range, they are no longer providing mounting brackets-just double-sided tape.

I've been buying from these guys:

Chevy Silverado Xenon HID Conversion Kit 9006 h8 09 10 : eBay Motors (item 390143692440 end time Apr-15-10 02:36:19 PDT)

but notice they no longer provide brackets either.

These are cheaper shipped, so if you decide to find your own way to mount them, this will save a few $'s.

hmm so you are getting those for your fog lights? You said there isn't anything to mount them? Isnt that what the ballast does? I'm not too sharp with the terminology.

Sorry. The ballasts I have came with the option of using 3M tape OR a metal bracket to attach them to the car.

Lately, they have omitted the brackets.

ohh I see. I will try those Silverado ones that you posted the link for on Ebay. Where will you mount them? Do you need to drill in a screw to connect them?

Just a little tip if anyone else is having troubles with their HID Fogs...

I bought mine months ago and tried to plug them in.
They didn't work, not matter what I did, I couldn't win.
I cussed and fussed and ordered new a new light.
Yet I couldn't get either to work just right.

I tried it on my car, I tried it on his car
yet they wouldn't shine like a star.
I had a bad hunch and tried one more thing;
I flipped the connector around and then... DING DING.
You see, HIDs are polar
You have to get the terminals in the right order.

Flip the connector around backwards
and although it may look awkward,
and the clip won't secure...
you'll be ready for the grand tour.

Those HIDs should be real bright.
So he knew something was not right.
But Bryan was persistent,
and became quite insistent
that he'd get them right,
so he could drive safely at night.
