HID's too bright?
I have had the 6k ebay setup for about 2 weeks now and I have cars constantly flashing the high beams at me. These things are far brighter than using my old high-beams. Anyone else having this problem? I have even tried adjusting them to aim lower.
On the other hand...
They look B-E-A-utiful

its common, they are bright. Some people are just asses.
When they do that to me I hit them with 6k HID high beams..
I've had a hard time with mine (6k as well) The left projector doesnt really "project" i've had to adjust them almost all the way up to see.
I'll probably pull the headlights off the car again and see whats wrong

I've got the 6k and have yet to be flashed, don't these women know that's why I got brighter lights?
You might consider angling them down just a bit, just a 1/2 turn on the *** at a time until you feel it is about right for you. Of course if you install HID's in the high beam, you could flash them back...but be ready to swerve or duck when they lose control or start shooting.

Maybe they need to be adjusted pull them down just a hair and you should still have great vision and no more problems with on coming traffic Good luck

Make sure you have the tube seated correctly. I had mine flipped upside down and they didnt project well. When looking at your Hid's there's a metal filament on outside of tube that should face down. You will see the notch in the beam when it projects...both should be facing down.
I always found that trying to adjust the head lights in the dark with a long clear area in front of the car you can see where the center of the beam will be strongest, on the ground in front of the car, or pull up on to a level surface with the light shining on the garage door and ajust the beams accordingly, of course another good way to adjust them is when its foggy out you can then really see your beam path, which will aid you in adjusting them so there not aiming to high but still where you can get optimal vision of the road ahead.
