Default Rear Window Defroster

Last August, the rear window of my Roadster came partially detached in the extreme heat. I re-attached the window with Gorilla Glue and it has held great through numerous ups and downs and varying weather changes. I did, however, notice this past week that only a portion of my rear window defroster is working. I checked the connections on both sides of the window and find them to be secure. Could the Gorilla Glue have caused the break in the heating elements? Is there a solution to this problem short of replacing the window?
