Green-ghost, could u post pics of the LED lights installed in the eyebrow location? This seems like an easy cheap mod that makes a big difference.

EDIT: or anyone else that has done this mod, be great to see some outcome pics.

It's slightly overcast out, you can see how dim the lights are during the day...

Maybe it's just the ones I got

Sheldon, which LED's are those? 3-LED? 5-LED? Some dusk and night time shots would be awesome!

They are 8 LED, 4 on the front facing out, then 2 on each side of stick thing... I know that makes no sense, I will find the place I ordered them from.

EDIT: Here are the ones I have

Here is a pick at 5:40pm (sorry one of them is blurry as hell)

PS, I hate my yellow side markers, can't wait to have those painted over

I got the 3 leds for eyebrows(one front, one top/one bottom, but if I was to do it again Id get the ones that have 4 leds facing front as the one (of the 3) that faces front isnt to visable in the day time. I like to use the eyebrows for driving lights

2 Car Bulbs CAN-BUS T10 8-LED SMD White Turn/Tail Light | eBay

I ordered these 8LED style lights, from Factorykiss. When they arrive (along with all the other LED's) I will report back to this thread, and probably start a new thread.

I'm hoping they'll arrive sometime before the end of the month. Their shipping times seem pretty vague...

Okay I've read every post in this thread and all very informative but so many different opinions. What are the sizes for the eyebrow lights fog lights, and maybe headlights? And what company should I go through to get the best lights without spending 25 a pair?

The best tool i've found for this job is a pair of 45 degree angled needle-nose pliers. Just reach under with them and grip the bulb base, then use a motion similar to turning a door handle to loosen the socket. (Counterclockwise, just to be extra clear). Once you turn it about 90 degrees it should be free and you just pull it straight back from that point. PM me if you have any more questions.

A pair of 45 degree needle nose pliers might help. As I recall the light socket only turns a quarter turn before it comes out. That is from the 12 o'clock position to the 3 o'clock position. Another thing I found helpful was to use a flat blade screwdriver on the nubs on the socket while simultaneously pressing the socket forward (toward the front bumper). Use the screwdriver to pry the socket around. Pushing the socket forward helps take some of the pressure of the socket while trying to release it. In addition before you reinstall the socket take the rubber "O" ring off and put some silicone (or other rubber lubricant) on it. It will make it easier to reinstall and remove if you need to in the future. Hope this helps, they can be stubborn the first time.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I finally (finally!) got the pass side out and reinstalled with an 8 LED light. Looks great! Also installed my HID kit last night which makes a huge difference in the appearance of the front end.

Very nice & Congratulations!

What color temperature HIDs did you go with? And 35 or 55 watt?

I went with HIDGATE from eBay on Maxichon's recommendation. It is a 35w kit, 6000k heat. I'd say light output is on par with stock but lights up reflective signs much better than the halogen. Obviously the look is about 700x better than stock.
