The blade I bought at CT for the pax side doesn't seem to be compatible but it's the one in their system.

Both sides use the same attachment, if they lock the same they will fit.

Never noticed any difference between Rain-X and non Rain-X wipers. You still have to add Rain-X where the blades do not reach.

I think it had a different attachement.

Dos anyone have any updated info or suggestions regarding currently available wiper blade only refills that can be used on a Crossfire? I can't find any bmw dealer who has the 10A 61-61-0-154-440 wiper refill. Someone else mentioned the Trico Neoform 47-700 but I can't find it either. Has anyone had any feedback on whether the Bemost regular or the Bemost Valeo wiper blades for sale on Amazon might work? I am unable to be sure after studying the mm measurements that they list, on my spare Crossfire wiper blade plus frame. Any help that you could give me would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

The OEM blades were Valeo, 20” = 510 mm (DS) and 22” = 560mm (PS) .
I managed to fit the Trico blades and they have worked well.
You can snap the Trico 47-800 (26” long) to fit or the Bemost ones that says you can cut them.
You want the narrow profile ones which are 6.5mm (Bemost) or 8mm (Trico).
I got the 47-700 blades which are 7mm wide.

I have the factory wiper arms and found this Trico refill blade to fit, available from Advance Auto Parts: Trico "Break to fit" wiper blade refills, 7mm trapezoida Claw, 2 count part #47-700 for not a lot of money. I have found that wiper refills are getting harder to find. When I checked for a new arm altogether, the price was in the $100's- ridiculous! Advance offers discounts and also go to Retail Me Not and see if additional discounts apply. I also found them on eBay for under $11.00, free shipping. This is contradictory to Mr. 180 who is way more familiar with the cf than I. Perhaps order both, bring in your wiper arm and see which one fits best. Perhaps they both fit. Good luck.

In the past, I've purchased PIAA wiper refills from Amazon per the attached order. I did use the Trico Snap-to-Size versions the last time I changed out refills. Seemed to work fine.

Once the OEM wiper blades are no more, you can install complete wiper blades of your choice. Just make sure the ones you buy have the connection for the XFire wiper arm. These can be the fully integrated versions or the standard wiper blade where you could install wiper refills later on. I install wiper refills every year.

If you want the OEM look back, then go to a M-B parts website, and purchase OEM wiper blades for the R170 SLK320 series. Then you can buy just wiper refills when you need to change the wipers out. You'll end up getting wiper blades with the spoiler integrated on both blades. The XFire actually only had the spoiler on the DS blade. The PS didn't come with the spoiler. Not a big deal either way - MHO. I think Valeo supplied the wiper blades for the XFire.

You'll also notice that on my Amazon receipt attached in an above posting, the wiper refills were different lengths for DS & PS. Putting the same size wiper blade on both sides may not be an issue. For all I know, the wiper blades from M-B for the R170 SLK may be only 21" long, which should work for both sides. Others can chime in on this that have specific experience purchasing M-B wiper blades. Just saying before I bought 2 wiper blades of same size from a M-B website, I'd be sure the PS fits properly & doesn't rub the windshield trim surround..

07/26/2020 - After sleeping on this feedback, I'd probably only buy the M-B wiper blade for the DS. Then I could purchase a wiper blade (21" long) of similar design from another supplier for the PS. That would give me the OEM Crossfire setup.
