top windshield trim

Take it too a windshield repair place they pull trim off everyday lessen the chances of breaking it they might not even charge you.

Here are the photo's you asked for as I said they are perfect as I took them off after 1200 miles on the car because I thought black windshield surround on a black car looked correct and I had a set from a donor srt so painted the less than perfect 1's from that car.

thanks going to try to get mine off in a few days, and then re glue the clips back on.

OK repair carried out. Quite easy to remove the trim, top first then side. As some clips were already detached from the trim it was easy to get a long screwdriver under the trim and spring the clips apart to release the trim. I had three clips that had come away from the trim, two on the top and one on the side. I cleaned the clips to remove the sticky residue and then used JB Weld epoxy to stick them back on to the trim. Left for 24 hrs to set and re attached to the car. Now as solid as a rock. I advise anyone with a loose trim to do this easy repair before you loose it. I took some photos during the repair for others to follow.
