Hey everyone,

I have a 2004 crossfire up here in calgary canada and my left headlight is burnt out, when I put in a new bulb there is no flicker nothing. Is it my relay switch? need some help with this one..

all the other lights are working fine!! flogs and all!!

 

Check your fuses.. If I recall correctly they are independantly fused.

 

I checked the fuses this morning once again and found nothing that indicated anything to do with head lights. That being said is there another location other then the drivers side under the hood?

Does the high beam work on that side? If it works check fuse #8 in fuse box that's on the side of the driver side dash panel. It should be a blue 15 amp fuse.

from searching "HEADLIGHT FUSE".. I'm sure you can find more, and I'm not positive this would be the only fuse...

 

So I found the panal but the fuse was still good. Looks like something more serious any ideas?

 

Please check the fuses next to the one you checked. I once mistakened a fuze for one next to it because the numbers were confusing.

 

I just check over 4 times and not one fuse was out! This is becoming a serious issue!! any more ideas to try out?

 

Have you tried more than one new bulb? Maybe you got a bad new bulb.

 

You say left headlight is that high or low beam, we take left to be the driver side - fuse 8 low beam, fuse 5 high beam. Passenger side, fuse 6 low beam, fuse 3 high beam.

You were asked if the high beam worked but you gave no answer. Answering questions helps diagnose problems, ignoring what may seem a stupid irrelevant question does not help.

The fuse is OK you say but is there any power going to the socket? That is the first step to take, you work back from there, check the fuse in the other side headlight. Sometimes fuses look OK but are faulty in some way.

 

So it turned out to be just a bad bulb!!! Lol thx for your help I am back on the road all lit up!!!!!
