Modern Xenons Explanation
Modern Xenons Explanation
Have been working slowly to update the lighting on my SRT to give the car a more modern appearance. The low-beams are now 4300K xenons, the 'eyelids' are LEDs, as well as the license plate lamps. I was fiddling with my buddy's G37, which I believe has bi-xenon lamps, and I noticed that when the lights were on low-beams, a rather bright halogen bulb lights as well (and turns off when the high-beams are on). Here is a pic of the headlight:

The xenon is on the right and the halogen in the corner on the left. The halogen bulb actually puts out a fair amount of light, warming the color of the xenons a bit.
The reason I ask all this is on the road, his G has considerably more light output than my Crossfire. Just curious how the modern set-ups work. Thanks!
