Default Clear side markers and turn signals installed

Installed the clear side markers w/ LEDs all around and replaced all the turn signals with chrome bulbs.. I know those bubbled-out side markers are not for everyone but I think I like it...

The clear side markers were from eBay, snatched up the last two from Sherwood Automotive/Auto Xclusive

LEDs and bulbs were from www.autolumination.com Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs ... they came in a small box wrapped in newspaper which kind of caught me off guard but hey the price was right

Someone told me that the front and rear side markers are the same exact lens, just flipped the other way.

That's pretty much how it worked on the clear ones, except you have to drill a hole and file an opening for them to clip in the rear

Well, they'd have to be able to catch me. I do drive an XFire after all, lol. The cops in Tulsa told me anyone going over 100 and they don't even bother, lol.

Is there a way to get rid of the "light out" warning light on the dash? I'm guessing the LEDs in the side markers are throwing the code... or am I limited to sticking some black duct tape over it?

Black tape... wire in resistors..black tape...wire in resistors.. the age old question.. LOL.

Edit: I'm guessing you have found the fairly intensive write up on the LED's?
