Default Turn Signal Assembiy, Highbeam switch

Driving to work this morning I placed my highbeams on, and no luck they did not turn on, but if I pulled the turn signal forward they would work. Am I looking at a replacement or is there something I could do, cleaning or checking some other place look?

If your headlight switch is straight up and down it will not go onto high beams - you need to turn the switch to the right 2 notches - you will see the headlight icon. High beam works from there. I know there are some differences between USA and Canada but that is what mine does.

Thanks but I tried it, lowbeams on, no response from highbeams only when I pull the turn signal forward.

Sorry your having high beam troubles. Did you check fuses 3 and 5 in the light fuse block? Those fuses are accessable when you open your drivers door, go to the dash panel there left of the steering wheel. The panel opens with a coin, there will be a bunch of interior fuses. Hope that is your problem!

I had this problem when I first bought my Crossfire. The dealer replaced the multi function switch and the headlight control module under warranty. I don't know if I actually needed both parts or just the multi function switch but they replaced both.

Sounds like the multi-function switch and they are not cheap, get one from web site or a MB dealer not a Chrysler dealer.
