I hate the mismatched bolts, but they are a bit of a necessity for now.
Perhaps buy some allen head slip covers and paint them to match?

Looks good, it won't say Ferrari because it is not. It's a Crossfire that is special too. Enjoy the car. I've been thinking of doing the valve cover in red on my car too. Bought the paint, ceramic caliper paint.

I installed the black wrinkles valve covers today while Nick and Steve stood by.

That looks freaking clean bro!!! Love it! Painted mine with hi-temp silver yesterday, fully cured today. Just waiting on gaskets, and voila!!!

Thanks for all the positive comments. I really have no issue with negative remarks, as I know it's not for everyone. Anyway, I'm much happier with it now that the boring, all silver look is gone. For a while it was like I owned a SLK32 or Porsche, as I felt people were just walking by it to look at other Crossfires. That was for Steve's benefit.

Glad you got them painted, John. I ordered new gaskets also, and I'm sure that's the best bet. Truth be told, I considered reusing mine, but went ahead ordered new since I needed new mani's gaskets also. I also ordered a new gasket for the oil filler housing for good measure.

Hopefully you and 180 will post up photos when the works done.

I striped my manis and painted them wrinkle red. I went ahead and sanded down the lettering while I was at it. I definitely prefer the red over the orange. I'll install the passenger side mani in the morning.
