Default Headlight Low-Beam Bulb CLIP problem...

Great posts on headlight issues guys! Very helpful!
Except my dumb *** dropped the headlight low beam bulb clip INTO the headlight housing!
What should I do? Could not get out the clip even with a magnet!
Is my next option to take out entire headlight housing???

I used a snake grab to get mine out...

I learned the hard way to tie some string to the clip next time.

No prob Rich. I've done so many light exchanges now that I can almost do it blind. I now have a snake neck mini led lamp with a magnetic base that's perfect for putting light inside the housing. I like to just take the clip off instead of fiddling with feeding the connector ends through the clip when installing HIDs. A small inspection mirror helps to locate the clip nubs and I now use a bent-nose hemostat to install the clip. The very first one i did where the clip came off took me a couple hours of cursing to get it back on by hand. Now it's off & on in seconds.
