Default headlight wont adjust

So I searched the forum and couldn't find any threads relating to my situation. When I purchased mt crossfirethe hheadlights were pointed way to low for some reason. The passenger side adjusted up to where I wanted it but the other side had an issue. As I was backing out the adjustment bolt in the center to raise the beam and it was almost where I wanted it, the beam suddenly dropped way low and wouldn't come back. I dont know the internal structure of the lamp assembly, im hoping the adjustment screw is just disconnected and didn't break. What's everyones thoughts?

Often it is because the bulb is not seated correctly into the housing of the headlight assembly of the clip that holds the bulb in isnt secured correctly
Take a look at this and then take a look at yours

Hope this helps

Yea the bulbs are seated correctly. My question pertains to the connection between the adjustment screw and the reflector becoming disconnected or breaking.

My apology
I re-read your post and now better understand your concern.
Many here have had experience removing the headlight assemblies and should be able to chime in here with some useful info
as to how it is all connected
