Howdy guys, just thoughts an opinions? my mind is already dead set that I am doing an underglow kit on my XF that's said and done. ATM I considering doing a Blue underglow via plasmaglow. anyone ever installed a glow kit on their car? also my XF is alabaster white, do yall think white might be a better color to go with?

Not done it on my XFire. Had it on my camaro I had in late 90's. Easy to install. I would go l.e.d. strips instead. The bright white what I would go with unless you have another color them you going with. Just do not use red, I got pulled over a few times from police for red.
Have you seen any that projects a copper color?

PlasmaGlow® - Flexible LED Under Car Kit

The orange looks copper. I was thinking white too thanks for the tip! Wasn't sure which I would want. Do you know how long they should be for the xf

They make color changing tubes and led strips as well, that way you can change them at your discretion. Also, not sure about other states, but there are no official legal colors to run on a municipal street in our state. You are allowed to run any color if you are in a show, or a parking lot, but nothing on the street

When I got pulled over the police told me red signifies emergency vehicle's they told me I would not be bothered if I had a different color. That was 14-16 years ago though in central IL.

I too as well own a White Crossfire. (Alabaster) the underglow is easy to install, and blue looks pretty good on my xfire . I'd go for it!

People still run underglow? I thought that fad died out 5-10 years ago along with vertical doors.....lol. I suppose just like bell bottom pants and vinyl L.P.'s......everything always comes back around full circle.
