Default Headlight restoration at Sam's Club

Hello everyone!

I was at Sam's Club today shopping for some things and saw an advertisement at the Car Center about headlight restoration. Talked to the guys for a moment and they explained they would wet sand it then apply clear coat to keep sun damage away from the headlights. To top it off they will give you a 5 year warranty which means you can bring it back at any time and have the process repeated should your lights fade again. All this costs $29.99 - well worth the money considering the guy must have worked on it for over 1 hour.
The results are very impressive, looks very professionally done and both lights look BRAND NEW! You can't beat it for the price if you are too lazy to do it yourself (like I am)

Of course you have to be am member of Sam's Club but then again, membership is pretty inexpensive and they usually always have some other good deals going on. You might even get away with applying for a day-pass if you want to be on the cheap side (it's free)!

Enjoy your weekend!

Wow, that's a great deal. I'll be checking our Sams Club to see if we have that service available to us. Thanks.

I'm in St. Petersburg, Florida BUT my friend is in New Jersey and apparently they have it available there too. As far as I understand EVERY Sam's Club carries it if you ask!

It comes with a warranty card that states it's a "patent pending" unique process! I watched them, not sure what their "secret ingredient" is as they wet sand and then apply clear coat but supposedly they are so confident their clear coat will last 5 years! Otherwise you can bring it back any time and get it redone/reapplied if it starts to fade!

It really is a great deal! Lights look like brand new, I'm very happy. Oh and they were also very careful taping everything off and not damaging pain/body!

I am going to try this at my next visit.

While you are all at the Sam's club stores, Check out the "FREEOSK" sample vending machine. 50% of the time it is dispensing our products.

What is the FREEOSK and what are YOU products? Sorry, I probably should know this but I'm still relatively new to the Forum!

I got around to taking some pictures yesterday: Really came out nice (shadow you see is from the surrounding palm trees, not in the headlight)

Sorry about that I re-posted them. Tried to edit them because they were upside down but oddly they are fine on my computer but the forum attached them upside down. Not sure how to fix it! But you should still get the idea!

I'm probably going to give this a shot just because I have a couple of fairly light scratches in my headlights that bother me... Thanks for the heads up!

Happens with some cameras/phones... the metadata tells whatever application you're using to preview that you had the camera rotated, but the forums don't understand it. If you just open it and save it again in Photoshop, paint, whatever.... It'll probably be fine. Weird.

I had mine done at Sam's Club in Las Vegas. You would swear the headlights are brand new. Very nice job.
