fixitmannn1 and his shady Ebay Sales Tactics.
accident busted my current tabs....but thanks.
i know getting something you weren't expecting nor would you purchase it had you realized it's condition is frustrating to say the least, I've been there. I've also went back and re-read the description and in most cases, the condition was clearly stated, but I, in my hast either over looked it or mis-read it. In those cases, I accepted my mistake and chalked it up to experience and I might add, it's taught me to read the entire listing. I didn't see this listing, but if it was clearly stated as some have pointed out here, you might reconsider your efforts to black ball the seller. Heck, you might have found out this seller was a great guy who if you explained that you misread his ad, relied on the 'new' part of the description and now feel you bought something you wouldn't have, you might have found him very understanding and one who would have tried to make it right. If all the above seems childish in my perception of the transaction, I apologize for pointing out what appears to be obvious.

My frustration lies within the time and effort wasted.
I enjoy working on my car but I work so many hours that I don't really have time to do it much anymore.
When you set aside time to remove 4 bolts, and place a headlight in place and re-tighten and then you get stuck with a 3 hour procedure instead..... after looking and shopping online through adds of busted tab headlights and decide.... I don't have time to rig it to get it right, but I want it right so let me pay more so I don't have to play games....
My frustration lies within the money wasted. I paid for a New Headlight. Again, for time sake, I found a new headlight add so I won't have to waste more time that I don't have, reading adds top to bottom.
I pray that no one else here ever has to experience a purchase of a new car part and have it arrive broken. If it wasn't my daily driver, of course I could pack it up and send it back and hope that the seller doesn't blame me for damage.
I give up on trying to create awareness. New parts shouldn't be broken, and broken parts shouldn't be advertised as new. It's my opinion, and if you don't like it..... that's ok.

I would still file a grievance with ebay. They offer buyer protection on everything now. simply tell them it was broken and absolutely useless in that condition and shouldnt even be listed for sale. Even though he said it was new oem its still junk they way it is. Just a thought
