HID Kit
I searched and did not find the answer. Andrew you posted you put in H4 8000K.
What I am looking for is what is Plug and Play with our car. I see H1, H7, H4, Hella, etc.
Are these kits really plug and play? Do I need to remove the headlights or can I get to the bulbs with just my hand.
Can someone post what to get and what is involved in the install?
Thanks.

I sell a lot o HID plug and play kits here in Germany (very high quality ones). You will need an H7 kit. They are available in 5000K, 6000K, 7000K, 9000K and 12000K. The price is 300 Euro for a plug and play kit. Installation time is 10 min. each side.
I think my price is little bit high for the US customers (because the Euro is to strong about the US$ at the time). Maybe anyone find a good dealer in the USA that has better prices as I. But it is possible to install the kit as plug and play version.

I got an H7 plug and play kit at 6000k. Yes they truly are plug and play.. Very minimal effort.. the hardest part is getting the bulb in perfectly.. wear gloves.. make sure it doesn't touch anything.. the rest is easy!
I'd just say read up on everything you can find before making a final decision.. One important thing is the brightness/color... 4200k is actually the brighest HID and just pure white. As you go up in number you lose brightness but you get more color. From what I read on numerous boards, 6000k has the best blend between some color and brightness. It's also the highest number that comes OEM of any car manufacturer... 12000k is basically an HID black light. Don't be fooled.. a lot of people think the higher # is better, its not..

No where do the ballasts go? Also, confirm I do not need to remove the light housings?
I think I will go with 4200K which is the best viewing for safety, correct. I am not concerned with color.
Thanks.
Also, which kits are rated the best.

NJSpeed69 explains it all in his post, just get a plug & play H7 for low lights. I went for the 6000k, I really like the purplish-white light, specially on road signs, and looking from far. That's when people with stock HID stare at yours. But yeah it is true that you get a better view with 4300-5000k, not a big difference from what I think compared to my other cars with stock HID.
If you want to get the best, yeah go with the philips but that'd be a lot of money (your choice!). Mine was about $300.(www.hidvisualcreations.com). Cheers.
