I'm doing a car 3m vinyl wrap
For my 10 year honorship celebration I will have the car wrapped in 3m vinyl. It will me carbon fiber with my black trim I currently have (mirrors, splitter rear fascia). Then glossy black roof and spoiler. In 5 years I will do a white wrap with the same black idea. Its high end so $1650
It's gonna rain here and so the car is not clean but I took a few pics in the sun today. Lasts 5 years. I got complements and had people stopping to take pictures of it as I observed from far away.

The pictures are up on www.paulscrossfire.com I had to re-design the home page as freewebs wanted to modernize and link social media etc. Consequently, the home page is very small now. I will add pages to fit in all that was lost.
Just closing the chapter here. 3 m has tested a clear coat over the wrap and now approves it. It's Valspar High Gloss Clear Enamel. I spent a week masking, spraying and wet sanding; followed by rubing compound, buffing and black wax kit. Pics are ready and the wrap shines well now.

Here is a link to the video. I filmed it for me but I decided to post it. Next time I need to film with the sun shining on the car.
Looks very stealthy!
Great choice - do you have any pics of the whole car? 3M are superior.
I had 3M textured matt carbon put on a previous vehicle, although only the bonnet, roof and top of tailgate. Was a nice contrast, on a gloss Black car.
