Default Cowl removal

I have been trying with no success to remove the wipers so I can remove the cowl. I am using a small gear puller but can’t get either wiper arm to pop free. I’m puzzled. Any advice would be appreciated.

That's how I get mine off too. Some gorilla hands can wiggle them off without a puller, but not me. Maybe try some penetrating oil; Just be sure the puller is correctly positioned and get them off. When re-installing use some anti-seize grease.

You have removed the black plastic cap and the nut under the cap, Yes??

Cap and nut off. I put the nut back on with a couple turns to protect the threads but it’s loose enough to not inhibit removal.

Got em off. I just had to get louder and more creative with my profanity. Thanks.

That's funny. The louder and more intense I get, the deeper the hole I dig. Good for you!!

A battery terminal puller works perfect. Also a bit of anti-seize will make it easier next time they have to come off.

Actually I just got more aggressive with the twisting and rocking. I think that is the best route.
