Exterior Light Failure Alarm
A week ago the alarm came on, on inspection the drivers side low beam was out. When I started to replace, the light came on as soon as I touch the wiring harness. Alarm went off all was good. Yesterday the Alarm came back. I have checked all exterior lights (including the two license plate ones). All are working fine. Any ideas ? Should I try replacing the original bulb that semi failed ?

Some interesting stories. So I rechecked, when I start the car all is normal, no alarms. As soon as I engage the gears the fault light appears. All that should come on at that point is the day time running lights, and they are on. I'm going to replace the one that failed earlier, perhaps it has a flaky element. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
Well . . . He is "one of yours" up there in the Great White North . . .
