Default Sun Roof Trim

My XFire has several sections of chipped paint on the trim piece surrounding the Sun Roof. One option is to have it painted in place but is it possible and/or feasible to remove the trim, paint and replace?

If you are talking about the 3 trim silver pieces around the windshield yes they are removable. I just repaired the stone chips on my roadster. Let me know and I will post picks of the trim removed, clips, how to etc. You have to be real careful.

You can paint them or buy new ones already painted. Google Crossfire drip rails and you will find numerous videos.

He says sunroof, so maybe he has a car with one fitted. I have seen a Crossfire with a sunroof so it is possible.

I should have been more descriptive about the location of the Sun Roof Trim. This is a 2005 Coupe with a factory installed sun roof. I would prefer to remove the trim and have it repainted but I’m not confident as to the safest method of removing it. If anyone has done this please pass on any information you have encountered. Thank you in advance.

You should post questions in the correct forum, this is nowhere near the correct one, read the description of what this forum is for. The mods should move it.
There were no factory installed sunroofs, never an option either. Installation by a dealer is possible or installed others is possible.
It looks very well done from the photo view. If it went in it can come out but it will cost, if the edges can be lifted then a neat masking and a refinish in place would be much cheaper.
