I don't know what the oem license plate bolts are but put whatever you want that holds the plate on, make it your own style. Here's mine with chrome caps over the bolts

Mine was U.S. import to Canada so I am not sure if it was mounted properly to the car or if the plate is even mounted properly to the holder.
Sorry, I thought this might be simple, like hey it's a 5mm bolt or a lag screw. I just don't want to bugger up the threads.

Post #4 shows the screws, they are all self tapping hex head screws.
