Smile Turn signal issues

Hello
2006 crossfire - convertible - 90,000 miles - blue body - black top - black and white interior
This car was donated to a local charity and was offered to me for 4000. I took one look and said, "I will buy it".
Sat for short while so, rotors were very corroded.
Changed rotors pads, fuel pump, filter, oil change, and new set of tires.
I have never had this much fun for 5500 dollars
These are like best kept secrets, I live in North Palm beach Florida and people in 200K cars stop, point and talk it about while I am driving on the road.
For some reason I feel smart, like this is a bargain and drives / looks great too.
I love the car and I did not expect I would.
I have driven a couple thousand miles since purchase.

So, recently when I turn on the lane change signal for the right both arrows will flash green. when I use the left one no dash lights at all.
I checked and they are working just no dash indicators.
I figured if they work that's fine, it's an old car and I will have to live with some quirks.
Today while driving a warning light came on, it's the light signal with the exclamation mark inside it.

With a buddy I checked and apparently when I press on brakes the taillight goes out?
The warning is said to be as per owners manual "Exterior bulb out"
I did replace the drivers rear taillight bulbs both of them about 2 months ago
I also noticed previous owner had a baggie with bulb no's from a previous change in truck so this may be a recurring problem.

Can anyone assist me with this? I searched the threads and could not find anything.

Thanks so much!

I would replace ALL rear tail/stop and turn bulbs with the proper bulbs, as this has been discussed numerous times before and using the wrong lamps can cause WEIRD problems.
Do that and see where you are then.

Also, see my signature line, as it sounds like you used the forum search, which does not work, instructions are provided in how to use Google to more effectively search this forum.

The original bulbs had oval shaped contacts, not round

There are many lights that can set off the light out warning including the license plate lights, side markers in the headlights and others.
