blinker problem

I have a blinker problem. When I lock my SRT6 (using my key fob) the normal exterior lights flash showing the doors/trunk lock and then all 4 blinkers start to flash. Two ways I have found to stop the blinkers from flashing is to
---disconnect the neg battery cable and the lock my car using the door key.
---reconnect the battery cable and then use the key fob to lock the car.
Don't know if this makes any difference but seems to only happen after I have driven my car. Would appreciate any thoughts you might have about what might be the cause

I would disconnect the alarm siren under the cowl in front of the windshield. It is probably going bad.

probably already bad, internal siren battery ruptures and the battery acid spills onto the siren circuit board causing all sorts of electrical gremlins in the car, replace or just unplug the siren and go without.
