I am in need of a driver's side door. Would prefer a white door but will consider any color. Also, is the door off of a hardtop the same as a convertible?
Body shop says this is not repairable

I see the Falcons decal so here are some available near Atlanta: left door for coupe.
You can also search for "convertible" on this site. just go back to home page.
This is why it is a good idea to place a location on your page. No need for your city, but a location near you or a section of a state ( SE Alabama ) realy helps us help you.
Auburn is in your forum name. You in Auburn, AL?
Help us help you. Are you looking for a door for a roadster or a coupe?
IMHO that damage looks like it could easily be pulled out with a suction cup designed for pulling out minor body dents. Have you tried to research this avenue? Then afterwards (if you select this) a paint job would pretty much finish the repair. Good luck with whatever you choose.
We have the car at a body shop, they are telling us that is not repairable, and they cannot find any "new" parts. Also, the insurance company wants to total the car.
The car was backed into in a parking lot. The estimate from the body shop was over $8500 This is why I am trying to locate a door.I am going to see if I can pull the dent once we get it back.
We used to live in Auburn GA but sold home there and moved to our lake house in Upstate South Carolina.
It is a roadster. I still need to know if the door is the same for a roadster and coupe??

Yeah, parts are getting rare and expensive, especially body parts and 'regular' insurance balks at this - you need specialist/collectible insurance which should handle it - the body shop I have here in Boston found me a passenger door (yes, hit and run sideswipe) and the estimate came within 95% of being called a total. Also, side note - when you replace the door, make sure to disconnect the battery and ensure all power zeroed out before pulling the cables in the door - otherwise the air bag system will show a fault and you'll need a good analyzer to reset the code. (Pulling fuse #3 will kill the warning light until the code is reset.)
Go to several experienced body shops and get their opinions about repairing the door. I looks like it is very doable. The basic door frame doesn't appear to have been bent or twisted. Even the door edge gap appears to be normal.
@auburnamphi
Go to the website i linked to above : car-part.com
The home page has a form to fill out ( fast and simple) put the zip code of your residence in the box and many doors will come up for you to choose listed in miles from your home. You even have the choice of roadster or coupe doors. They start at $250 bucks and go up from there. I would think some one has a door that is near enough to your home where you can just go buy it and pick it up yourself so no shipping involved. The problem you have is easily resolved: Take the old door off and bolt a new door on.
There is no doubt the door you now have can be repaired, but it is cost inhibited when doors are available for well under $500. With a bit of work you could make the swap yourself if you have a few tools and a place to work.
