This is great stuff, and it is true that a lot of Americans are this dumb, granted there are a lot of smart ones too, but this is just embarrassing.

This is very sad! However, you can really make people (in this case the USA) look stupid if you do some careful editing, show only the morons and cut out those with a little intelligence.

I bet I could go to the UK and do the same thing with some of their people. (No offense to our Crossfire friends there).

 

Yes, I agree. I have a very close friend who edits video news for a living. He and I had a conversation on this very subject. He then showed me two stories he had edited to illustrate that very point.

Simple human interest story, but he was able to twist it to both ends of the scale with a bit of creative editing.

Don't believe everything you see... even in real life sometimes.

I completely understand that editing is very manipulative, but here in Los Angeles I run into people like this all day long. Hell I know people who have been here for 17 years and they still can't speak English, WTF?
From what I see most educated person's usually start life as a privilege children, who's parents can afford to educated them, but some of these privilege adults are very dumb too. It's disappointing being in the world’s most powerful country and surrounded by so many ignorant people.

The stupid people are the ones who think the morons in that video are good representations of the average American citizen. These people are the bottom of the barrel. Anyone who can't see that and says "Look how stupid Americans are!" should really take a second to ponder his or her own intelligence and reasoning abilities.
