Default College Graduate...any advice??

So I am now a senior in college and will be graduating in May 2008. I am currently looking at several different companies for after I graduate and will start the interview process very soon. Since many of you guys are quite successful and have quite a few years of corporate life under your belts, do you have any advice for me??

You don't tell us what you majored in. That would tell me alot about whether you'll need any luck. If you picked the right degree you won't have any trouble. Others, and you're just one of many and you better be the best or know someone in the right place. In any event be truthful to yourself and your company and/or clients. Strive for perfection every time and even if you miss you'll be doing much better than most. And to me remember the almighty dollar isn't the most important thing in life. I always felt that it wasn't the man with the most money that was the richest man I knew but the one with the most time off. Even Donald trump can't buy more than 24 hours in a day. When it comes to hours in a day we're all created equal. If I make enough to get the basic things I need and a few of the extras and can leave my job at 2 in the afternoon or work 4 days not 5 I'm much better off. You only go around once, learn it early and live it every day.
