Antonio, I've just got to ask, exactly what Olds engine did your fathers Eagle station wagon have?
Because the only GM engines that AMC ever used was the Pontiac "Iron Duck" 4 cyl. and the original Buick V6 was in the Jeep when AMC first purchased it.
911 is correct, while AMC was trying to develope a 4cyl. out of their own six, they got the rights to put an Audi 4cyl. in the Gremlin/Spirit body. Fortunately, that didn't last too long. It may even have been offered in the Concord, but I hope not.
