SIDEZ has left us all
I sadly want to inform the community of crossfireforum that Sidez (Stan) past away riding his motorcycle in Fort Lee NJ 4/25/08 around 7:30pm.
Me and my 4 of my friends (Including Sidez) rented a movie and went over to Stan's house to watch (the movies were 'Find Me Guilty' and 'Torque'). Somehow after just watching Stan's friend attempting a wheelie on Stan's bike he probably was convinced to try it himself after having a riding experience of 2 weeks or so,. The friend drove up on the driveway and said something like this "Yo, it feels good when you and your friend are driving motorcycles side by side". And another said "Yeah, but not when you see your friend next to you lieing down on the asphalt".
So Stan told us he was gonna try and was putting on his jacket and was getting ready to pull out and jokingly said to Vodka (a friend) "Vodka, don't let me die". He put on his helmet and drove to the end of the block and was gonna attempt it on the other side of the our street and Vodka followed him just to watch him with his own bike. Then Vodka came with his bike and told us he fell off, call 911. Then all of us drove up to the other side and saw Stan's front half of the bike two houses away from him and his helmet three houses away. His body and face was ground the ground, laying down lifelessly. We did not touch him and just came close and was trying to talk to him. He just moved his back very little bit upward twice, but that did not seem he was going to be O.K. We were waiting for ambulance and went to hospital and later heard the tragic news that he did not make it...
Me and Stan grew up together since 9-10 years old and I know he really liked this forum and his car and I did not want any of you not to hear this news. I'm not sure about what's going to happen with his car and where he's going to be burried (Russia or NJ).

Oh my. This is awful, just awful.
I do not know what to say.
He seemed like a great guy who would probably do about anything for you.
Thank you for letting us know.
Let us know if we can do anything.
May he rest in peace.

Slick,
Very sad news here but thanks for coming online and letting us all know.
This story literally brought tears to my eyes.
I was reading the first post out loud to my wife and I began to get all choked up and overwhelmed with emotion.
I too ride a motorcycle and have been for 30 years.
I have also been a member here since last July and have often seen posts by Sidez.
I feel as if we have lost a friend.
My prayers are with all of his friends and family during this difficult time.
He will be missed by many here. Gary

WOW that's awful news, Sidez you will not be forgotten, I will always remember the NJ stories we shared together. Rest in peace buddy....
The XFi group page on Cardomain is from now on dedicated to SIDEZ. A pic of his forum avatar and SRT have been posted so he will not be forgotten.

One of the more recent threads I recall was when "Reactivator" and "Sidez" started communicating here in Russian words. And Silverfox chimed in at one point in the thread....

I am very saddened to hear of the loss of one of our best (IMO) members. He is loved and will be missed.
I never knew him personally, but felt he was a friend none the less.
Sidez, we will miss you... may your road never end and your journey be exciting and fun. *HUGS*

Ohh man brings tears to my eyes reading this, what a great guy I had had a few conversations back and forth with him about some after market products, I really can't believe this. WOW, Rest in peace Sidez
Very sad news, I pray for all his friends and family he has left here on earth that are mourning their loss friend and loved one.
A tragic decision to make for just a thrill ! Sometimes trying to live life to the fullest shortens the precious time to enjoy the simple things of life. May god bless him and his family.

I have not been on here very long but one of the threads that drew my interest was the "Russian" thread.
Seemed like a very nice guy and will certainly be missed.
My condolences to his family & friends.
