Default Dealership recommendation - FORD

I am in the market to purchase a NEW "FORD TRUCK" and thought I would post to see if anyone in our forum can recommend a FORD Truck DEALERSHIP ( or salesman by name) where they have had a positive experience. I would like to order a 2009 vehicle and the dealers I have contaacted don't seem to have a clue!

Thanks

Because we all know, if you are a fan of Chrysler Crossfires than you must love Ford trucks. The two do go hand and hand....

I hate to break it to you, but dealers in general are worthless, not just one brand...

hi eldorado, do you have any updates for your ford truck? I can't decide which truck model to buy, I've seen the latest 2012 model but im more interested with the 2013 model, features are surely upgraded for this.

NOPE....haven't moved on .....still here, just a little slow in my replies.
I did purchase a truck back in '09 and I am completely satisfied with everything about it.
It's a 2008 F250 Super Duty Extended Cab with 8' bed.....gas engine.

The truck is great and after owning and looking at every other brand, I can confidently say that there is nothing better than a FORD 250 series or larger for towing, work, comfort, style. I wouldn't even think of purchasing GM / GMC.
My opinion of course. I think Dodge has as good or better diesel engine if you require a diesel. After really crunching the numbers and cost of operation and ownership, the diesel is quite impractical UNLESS you will be running high miles, towing, or using it for commercial purposes. The FORD diesel actually weighs 1000# more than the gas engine of the same exact model. That's a considerable amount of extra weight to tote around on tire wear, brakes, suspension. Also, after a visit to a FORD dealer shop where I saw that the cab had to be removed to access the motor for some regular service, that was a frightening thought should I need any warranty work.
