My GF has been pretty understanding and in actually enjoyed going for rides when I had my limited. Now in the SRT she is pretty much scared sh!tless most of the time, lol.

She does love the heated seats though. I think that's about it. I've been trying to drive semi-appropriate when she is in the car but it is rather hard to, I still love slamming the pedal when we leave our condo. It's just too fun going 0-60 and sweet-*****, in 4.7 seconds, haha.

I originally bought the care for both of us to drive, but she hasn't driven it for over a month because of the BLIND spots. Oh well, her loss my gain!

My GF thought I was being overly protective and obnoxious when I warned her to watch the purse scraping up my dash when she pulled it up from the floor. Last week she bought a new car and when I reached down to hand her her purse, you guessed it, "don't scratch my dash with that thing" I'm not sure if she was just getting even or really had concerns

My wife is very tolerant as I just bought my second one. She still doesn't like to drive either. She feels like she would be a road bump.

Wife doesn't like spirited auto driving, you don't always have to take her with you and if you do, just tell her that you need balance, sometimes a Sunday drive, sometimes more aggressive...hint, just start making the Sunday drives a little more aggressive every other outing. Outside of that, you need to bring her to a Dragon so she can see what it means to be aggressive.

You love your car, got it. Presuming your wife was looking for a different kind of spirited driving, you should have gone to bed as you can always come back to the forum to read about your XF.

My boyfriend doesn't get it at all. I think a big part is that he doesn't really fit in my car. Either his knees are in his chest or his head is pulling a "Dino" out the top of the roof. He didn't want to go to any meets. Just rolled his eyes and said "that's your thing." Of course he went to the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise with me yesterday, fix easily in Ben Book's base coupe (Ben is a BIG boy), met some great XF folks & suddenly the whole XF thing is looking pretty good to him. I think if we become a 2 XF family the second one is going to be a black base coupe 6sp instead of the Aero Blue SRT6 I wanted. How many 3 XF families are out there?!?!

What you are saying is that there are three good things in life, a fast drive before and the .org site after.

My XF IS my mistress, mrs is always trying to get between her and me. I try to get the mrs into a threesome but I guess that'll never happen. All I keep hearing is, 'those damn cars'! I'll have to keep a close eye on her, yeah, real close.....

Ya got a good one there. Hope you remember to do a few nice things for MrsS from time to time.

My wife does in the Crossfire as when she's behind me on my Triumph Rocket 3 motorcycle. She closes her eyes and trusts. Gary
